Spring Work Day: Success!

Twenty friends of camp joined us on Saturday, May 12, 2018- some traveling as far as from Hatboro and Shamokin. From those who held a paintbrush, a hammer or a baby, we couldn't have accomplished any of our work without your help! Thank you!

Here's what we accomplished

  • The Pastors' Cottages (24 & 25) were demo'd! Drywall, fir strips, carpet, linoleum, shower stalls, toilets...it all came out!
  • Fresh paint for the sitting rooms, hallways, bedrooms and bathrooms for Dining Hall Suites 7 & 8.
  • The doors entering the Dining Hall were painted, too

Now that the Pastors' Cottage is ready for remodel, here are upcoming steps in prepping this space for accommodating our guest

  • New wiring, electric, fixtures & electric panel
  • New plumbing, toilet, vanity & shower
  • Walls need to be studded out
  • Heating
  • Insulation
  • Drywall
  • Paint
  • New Windows
  • Flooring
  • Shingles & tarpaper
  • New gutters and water remediation
